365 WAYS HOW TO RELAX WITHOUT SPENDING MONEY – DIGITAL TOOLS

What I have done recently or am doing:

  • Turning off most of the notifications
  • Trying to connect with old friends
  • Listening to podcasts and reading ebooks
  • Watching my favourite tv-show
  • Watching “Oddly satisfying compilation videos”
  • Participating in free online courses
  • Reading funny or interesting blogs
  • Ignoring my phone
  • Googling “magnificent trees”

 

What I’d like to do:

  • Avoiding screens one hour before going to sleep
  • Avoiding news for two weeks
  • Making a playlist of my favourite songs
  • Looking cute animal pictures
  • Exchanging books with friends

 

What I have tried, but wasn’t my thing:

  • There were a lot of recommendations for videos and relaxing sounds. I listened, but didn’t like most of them. 
  • Giving stuff away or selling online – it isn’t for me, I just collect stuff together and take it to second-hand shop or give away to my friends
  • Downloading a game to my phone – I get addicted too easily
  • Using pinterest for getting ideas – it was irritating for me, because everyone seemed so happy
